Shopping, Swimming, Downtown & The Beach

Just some pics from the last couple of days. Only one more full day here, probably just bum around the beach tomorrow and back to the hotel to pack up all my goodies and get to bed early!

One of the many many many swims! We got him a swim shirt and now he doesnt shiver!


We went to the Olive Garden for our Anniversary! It was very cute. And we didn;t have to wait 2 hours for a table! Brayden snoozed the whole time so I got to enjoy a bottle of Sutter Home!


Shopping downtown Traverse City...had to stop for a Gelato!



A view of the Bay from the streets of DowntownToday we went to a different City about an hour away to look at some 5th wheels. And on the way back we went to the small town where Brian was working last year to look at the wells he did. And then on to Torch Lake and a cute little town of Alden for some shopping in the old little unique shops.

A Walker

We got the boy a walker this morning! He hasn't quite figured it out...but he goes backwards. Still has an inch or so before he can reach the floor really well. But he loves it of course!

Day Two

Today we headed out for a drive right after breakfast. We went to Mission Point. A penninsula, saw a old light house and some very beautiful homes! Had a snack there. Drove back into the city, did a little shopping and now just hanging at the hotel until we head back to Bull and Paulas for supper again! I got some locally made Cherry Wine! Ill let you know how it is tomorrow!

Our first day

We slept in on Saturday. Didnt head out until around lunch time. Drove around say the lake and all the attractions. Then we went to Bull and Paulas house . ( A Guy Brian has been working down here with ) They have a beautiful acreage just outside Traverse City. Had supper and a long visit outside til it started raining. Came back to the hotel for a little swim and went to bed!

We left home Friday to come down to Michigan to see Brian, who has been working here since the 2nd.

I couldnt have asked for a better baby on the plane rides here. All THREE of them. And even with delays and not getting here until 1 am...he was sooooo super! Very tired tho of course!

My Mother's Day Present

Even tho Brian wasn;t home for Mother's Day he sent me a little present.


Two teddy bear's. A Mama Bear and a Baby Bear with Brayden embroidered on it!


They came in a cute little box with a air hole so they could breathe on the way here.

1st Mother's Day

My first Mother's day went off without a hitch. It was a great day of just hanging out with my boy.

We went shopping for potted flowers, plant pots ect for the new house. Brayden LOVES shopping! And I love taking him with me!

We had a BBQ in the evening. And went out to Grandma and Grandpa B's Monday morning.

It's pretty special thing being a mommy, and I have a pretty great little boy! Maybe when Daddy gets home from the States Mommy can have some Mommy time by herself???? * hint* *hint*

Brayden has started eating some finger foods. Hes not really too fond of it...really just makes a huge mess!

We bought Brayden a poopl about a month ago when they went on the shelf at wal mart! Just in case they sold out as soon as it got hot!

Well today he got to use it!

He loves it. Has this little dolphin run by batteries that makes the water spray up. He could care less if it got in his eyes!! He just loves the water!
