We have an offer

Well things have been sooo hectic I havent even been able to update this in forever. Last week we had our first showing, they came back twice and we also got our first offer. They have a house to sell in Hinton tho, but we also put a offer in on a brand new house in Spruce Ridge ( behind the Tri Leisure ) so hopefully it all goes through one way or another!

We have another showing tomorrow afternoon now too...maybe they will have no conditions!! * crossing fingers*

The people in our old cul de sac wanted WAYYYY too much money for what they are selling and the area it is in....so that is a no go now :( Makes me really sad because Brayden would have sooo many friends but greed is gettting the best of them I think. Or their realtor blowing smoke up their ass! That house will not even be worth what they want in the summer.

Thankfully the house we have an offer on has a fairly big yard tho...will still be small compared to what we are used to!!!!!! Bye Bye 2 acres of peacefullness. Why oh Why do acreages by Spruce need to be so much dang money?

Better run the boy wants to have a chat....hes hootin and hollerin at the couch! Mad its not talking back to him!

The hunt is on for a new house!

We have had 2 showings now so far, both the same couple. Another one tomorrow, and another call on the house. Thankfully...I was really starting to get worried. So now we much find a new house!! I'm sure we will find something if the people in our old neighbourhood don't want to settle for a little less than what they are hoping to get in the summer.

Brian has been home for a couple days now. So we will be getting some things accomplished, and hoping our house will sell in that time!

Both of our parents are off to the not much warmer South now, mine for 2 weeks and Brians for 4. The boy is sure going to change in that amount of time!

Visit

G & G B came by for a visit tonight. Have to get some cuddles and pictures in before they head south within the next week. G & G D are also leaving this Sunday, but not for quite as long. Just a couple weeks. All these lucky people getting holidays! We wanna go too!!


Brayden was getting pretty cranky by the end of the visit...thinking his bed time might need to be moved up an hour especially if he doesn't sleep during the day. Hurry home Daddy, Mommy needs some sleep! ! ! !

Home Bound Day

We had a nice low key day at home today. I got some closets cleaned out . Our ensuite bath cleaned out. A whole nother bag of garbage just from that....and much more stuff to sell sell sell! We have wayyy too much stuff! Hopefully all this cleaning will result into someone coming to look at our house and buy it! weeee wouldn't that be nice!


As you can see Brayden didnt mind spending the day at home with Mommy! We had a few good plays and a few wayyy too short naps after such a long night of getting up 3 times last night! Hopefully this is not his new schedule! I was sooo proud of my boy sleeping through the night. It's on his way to dream land now, and I am close behind. We are going to a friends place tomorrow for lunch and a little visit! Should be fun fun fun!

Sunday Jan 14th - no better title!

Pretty un-eventful day today! hung around home. Went out to lunch. Back home, for a grouchy evening from the boy! He even screamed during bath time, which is his most favorite. Just wayyyy too over tired im sure. I mummified him put him to bed and Im sure hes already out! Growing boy!

As for me, just debating on playgroup tomorrow. Depending on the sleep I get tonight! If not it will be some home time and closet cleaning, and hopefully Brayden will let me watch all the shows I have on the PVR from tonight.

Time to get some tidying done around here so I can crawl into bed too.

I know I know its been a few days. We have been busy busy...with threat of some TERRIBLE storm we headed into Spruce for a couple night stay. It was nothing more than a little snow and wind. . . . a tad dissapointed!

Tonight G & G B are watching Brayden and I am going to the Saints game with everyone else, Spencers team is playing during intermission. It will be wonderful to get away for a couple hours. As much as I love the little guy its going on 3 weeks where I havent really had much of a break. Altho Grandma D watched him for a couple hrs when I ran some errands in Spruce the other day....far from enjoying myself tho! Id rather take him and have company! I am very lucky to have so many babysitters and so many people who love him so much to help me out. Even as much as I dont like leaving him...its a good release for a tired mama!

Monday Monday

Another week begins...altho what day it is doesn't matter much when we have nowhere to be! We went to playgroup today with Jackie and her cutie Kamryn! She's soooo adorable. I had a LOT of fun. This is the second time we have gone, but Jackie wants to get a job! Then won't be coming with me anymore. Saw a couple of neighbour ladies there with their little ones. And met a woman witha 2 mth old little boy who lives in Gunn ( who is super sweet!) But still noone that I could really connect with yet. It would be great to meet some friends even for the remainder of time we are out here. Actually a mom came from Spruce Grove or Stony forget because she actually enjoys this playgroup better than any of the ones you have to pay for ect in Spruce. I think once we move we will just be having ones with the many many mommies and kiddies we already know there. At least until Brayden is older and then we can go to the play center at the TRI.

I took a bunch of CHOCOLATE! Man was I a HIT! I had made some of Tammys oreo truffles and some peanut clusters ( a recipie of Brians moms) and everyone LOVED them both. But of course chocolate would be a hit with a bunch of moms!

We ran some errands in Onoway, got water, washed the car then came back home! It was a crazy windy night last night and I was up a few times so I was too tired to do anything else.

Brayden has been snoozing since 1:30 and its not 4:10! He did the same thing yesterday so hopefully this is going to be a routine GOOD nap time! But I cant wait for him to wake up so I can play with him and see him Smile!

I think maybe just maybe he might be waking up now! Woooo

Home again

We had a sleepover this weekend at G & G D's and now we are home again! Hopefully the goober starts sleeping through the night again! Of course he did there but the few nights before we went he decided to stray from the routine!! He even fell asleep watching a movie!

3 months already?

Yah right! It's already been 3 months. I never knew the meaning of 'they grow up too fast' until now! Holy smokes I can hardly remember him being a tiny baby anymore, ( maybe because he never really was tiny! ) he's so much more social, interactive, talkative and much more predictable than a few months ago.

Turkeyed out

Tonight Brayden and I went to G & G B's for some more turkey!! Is this holiday season over yet? It's bout time I lose these preggo pounds and all this yummy yummy food isn't helping one bit! It was a huge spread and I am stillll stuffed to the top! I have one whole stinkin picture to post but will do that tomorrow, too sleepie tonight. Mr. Brayden just went to sleep now...almost 2 hours after bedtime, so he was rather cranky about that!

Brayden has been laughing for about 3 weeks now! He loves to be tickled under his chin....and when you take his shirts off he gets a real kick out of his arms coming out and it going over his head! Which most kids hate....but he just thinks its hilarious!
Today I had him going good playing on the floor!

End of a day

And so ends another day! Yes my days end around 9 pm now, my how things change. It also begins a lot earlier too! I never was a morning person really...but getting up to a smiling - sometimes crying baby makes them a little easier. So I don't mind much!

We had a pretty low key day at home together today. Hauled some garbage, checked the mail, web camed with Daddy, ate, slept, ate, slept, ate. It really was a tough day! Tomorrow we are going to visit Heather and Prevail...bout time! Its been almost a year since we saw them last. I was just pregnant and they were still living in Spruce. Cant wait to see butt-scoot walk. They really are sweet people and I cant wait to re-connect, and hopefully see them a lot more once we move back closer.

Ahhh moving back closer! Closer to everyone and everything. Closer to all of our lazy friends who don't come visit us *wink* It will just be so much easier for Brayden to socialize with other kids...and me to socialize with other adults. But..BIG but we still havent sold our house. I am hoping that by the end of January that will be a huge load off! Then I just have to worry about packing and where we are going to live in limbo until the house we want is ready! But it will all be worth it. Brayden will have sooo many little friends...I will have close friends again. Zero privacy, no space, no spur of the moment quad rides, no peace and quiet. But it will still be worth it. I really can not wait. It will be what is best for us right now, as much as it sucks to give up this place its what has to be done.

Off to bath the little one and do our bedtime routine! Pack our stuff for a sleepover at G & G D's tomorrow night and hit the hay myself!
